RIYADH — The International Saudi Falcons & Hunting Exhibition 2025 concluded with a record turnout of more than 700,000 visitors over ten days—the highest attendance in its history. Hosted at the Riyadh Exhibitions & Convention Center – Mulham (north of Riyadh), the event gathered over 1,400 exhibitors and brands from 47 countries, offering a broad slate of experiences and displays across more than 28 specialized sectors.
Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Shamisi, CEO of the Saudi Falcons Club, thanked the national leadership for its support of efforts to preserve cultural heritage and related pastimes. He said the exceptional attendance underlines the exhibition’s status as a global destination that blends cultural heritage with economic and tourism impact. Beyond being an annual event, he noted, the exhibition has become an economic driver that energizes sectors including tourism, entertainment, handicrafts, and national products, while supporting falconers, investors, and entrepreneurs.
This year’s edition featured two auctions: one for Mongolian falcons and locally trapped falcons, generating total sales of SAR 7 million, and a camel auction organized in cooperation with the Saudi Camel Federation.
The exhibition expanded its international footprint and introduced new zones, notably the Mongolian Falcons Zone, the Saluki Museum, the Chinese Pavilion, the UNESCO World Heritage Zone (Hima Najran), the Exhibition Safari, the Future Falconer Village, the Falconry Fashion Zone, the Shalail Museum, the Weapons Zone, and the Classic Cars Zone. Art and weaving areas showcased Saudi craftswomen alongside curated art exhibitions. The Al-Melwah lure race also debuted, honoring 60 winners across six categories with total prizes of SAR 600,000.
In all, the program comprised 23 diverse activities, including a dedicated falcon lure-calling event (dau), folkloric performances featuring the Saudi ardah and other traditional arts, equestrian shows combining horses and falcons, karting and 4×4 driving on specialized tracks, camel riding, and shooting ranges for firearms, air guns, and archery, in addition to an Arabian horse drawing activity. The agenda further included panel discussions and more than 30 craft and training workshops.
The exhibition was held with strategic sponsorship from the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority and the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority—reflecting institutional collaboration that supports national events and reinforces the Kingdom’s standing as a global destination for cultural and heritage showcases.
